The easiest and crunchiest fried chicken recipe
Nobody likes soggy fried chicken… A few months back I released a recipe for a super crunchy ‘fried’ chicken that skipped the deep-fryer. Even though it’s oven-baked the thick cornflakes crust gives you the same satisfying crunch that you love from a good fried chicken, but then just a little bit healthier.

Check out the recipe for the incredibly tender oven-baked chicken with an ear-popping crunch, here. At least just as delightful as your Colonel’s chicken but then finger-licking better!
About one small bowl of dip. Enough for 4 servings.
Ingredients for the blue cheese dip
- 1 clove garlic
- 3 sprigs parsley
- about 30 stalks chives, alternatively 1 spring onion
- 100ml mayonnaise
- 100ml yogurt, use Greek yogurt for a thicker consistency
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 3 splashes Worcestershire sauce
- 50g blue cheese, like Gorgonzola, Roquefort or Stilton

This looks so good and delicious. Can’t wait to try this one. Thank you for sharing the recipe. Here in my place there’s a lot of sauces that we can make or choose. We tried vinegar with chili and its really good. But if you want little bit sweet dip, We have liver sauce.
Thanks Bailey! Liver sauce on top of fried chicken? Wowsa that sounds intense. Care to share a recipe for that? I’m really intrigued!
Vinegar and chili on top of chicken also sounds like a delicious contrast.
